Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for Grandville, MI, working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM with rotational weekends. The role involves collecting specimens, processing samples, and supporting patient services in a fast-paced lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic medical training, and preferably phlebotomy certification. Customer service skills and proficiency with lab information systems are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Navigate systems to verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information following policy.
• Prepare specimens for transport and handle routine lab duties.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with data reporting.
