Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Berkley, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. The role focuses on specimen collection, processing, and data entry in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification preferred, and prior customer service experience. Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with every 4th Saturday in West Bloomfield.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred for this role.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client data.
• Enter data accurately and navigate computer systems.
• Obtain identification and process billing information per policy.
• Prepare specimens for transport (labeling, centrifuging, etc.).
• Perform non-patient tasks (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
