Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• National Phlebotomy Certification or eligible to sit for exam preferred.
• Prior phlebotomist experience or healthcare field work preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology with strong communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy on adult and pediatric patients using venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Verify patient identification and proper labeling of specimens.
• Monitor and manage collection supply inventory and orders as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous patient interactions and ensure a positive experience.
• Prepare specimens for transport and assist with processing and storage.
• Utilize computer systems to access patient/testing information accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and handle other duties as assigned.
• Travel to surrounding sites may be required.
