Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater for the 1st shift to support a medical facility in Wallingford, CT. This 4+ month assignment offers potential extension or conversion and involves coverage at multiple locations.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, strong patient service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. On-site work with a daytime schedule and on-call Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy knowledge with pediatric and geriatric experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe, accurate venipuncture and blood draws.
• Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient demographics and document labeling accurately.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and trust.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with standards.
• Work at multiple locations as needed under supervision.
