Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a local contract in Wallingford, CT. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with every other Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. Location: Wallingford, CT 06492.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique using straight or butterfly needles.
• Match requisitions to tubes and package specimens for transport.
• Store specimens at required temperatures.
