Labcorp in Salem, VA is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and collect specimens across ages, while ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of samples.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification preferred, and strong customer service. A valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple locations are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency acceptable in lieu of exp.
• Strong customer service track record required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
• Must pass color vision test.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and related tests.
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent patient service.
• Handle administrative tasks as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
