Job summary

Labcorp in Springfield, MA is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collection across age groups, data entry, and patient service. You will travel to multiple sites and support various clinics.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday with shifts that may vary and occasional Saturdays. A phlebotomy certification or training is required, along with 6+ months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 6 or more months phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
