Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, process specimens, and maintain accurate logs while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy certification or training, with at least 0–3 months of experience; more experienced candidates are preferred. This on-site position offers a competitive pay range and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
