Job summary

Labcorp in Richmond, VA seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team, collecting specimens and performing phlebotomy across locations. You’ll handle data entry, billing support, and ensure accurate patient records on a fast-paced schedule.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and a phlebotomy certification or relevant training with 3+ months experience. Strong customer service and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
