Job summary

Our Client in Wethersfield, CT is seeking a Phlebotomist III Float to join a patient-centered lab team. You will draw blood, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain high standards of safety and accuracy while interacting with patients professionally.

The role requires 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and preferred phlebotomy certification. You will provide coverage at multiple locations and coach junior staff as needed, ensuring reliable service across PSC/IOP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience required; 3 years PSC/IOP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Provide coverage at multiple locations and roles with timely patient service.
• Lead on-site activities, coach and onboard new staff as needed.
• Coordinate with Sales, Lab Testing Services, IT, Billing, and Logistics for complex orders.
• Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment while maintaining confidentiality.
