Modern Machining Solutions in Monroe, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role (potential for permanent). The position is a float/local assignment with a Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:30pm and Fri 8:00am-1:00pm schedule.

Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent. You will perform blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, record maintenance data, and ensure specimen transport while complying with OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens according to procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens following protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient data and documentation; ensure correct test requisitions.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and attend department trainings.
