Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is hiring a Phlebotomist for a Austin-area contract role with potential for permanent placement. The position requires prior venipuncture experience, accurate specimen handling, and compliance with OSHA standards. You will float among Austin area locations, collect and process specimens, and maintain patient information with care.

Expect 3 months duration with mileage reimbursement and available benefits. Flexibility for daytime hours and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Collect, label and process specimens according to procedures.
• Operate centrifuges and ensure proper sample handling.
• Maintain accurate patient and test data records.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport following protocol.
• Attend annual department trainings.
