The ideal candidate has 6 months+ venipuncture experience, a state phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Mileage reimbursement is provided, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Phlebotomy certification required by state where employed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens as required.
• Centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data and decontamination.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate techniques.
• Match lab requisitions to specimen tubes and package specimens for transport.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulations are followed and attend trainings.
