Job summary

Labcorp in Lowell, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and proper handling.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training; prior LabCorp experience is a plus. Schedule: Mon-Fri 11:00 am – 7:30 pm with every 3rd weekend.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
