Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our hospital/inpatient teams in Lowell, MA. This role emphasizes skilled specimen collection, accurate data entry, and exceptional patient service in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Phlebotomy certification or training, or 1+ year phlebotomy experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; willingness to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior patient service.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
