Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Worcester, MA team. The role involves drawing blood via venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, collecting specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry and patient care.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a phlebotomy certification or training, with preference for LabCorp experience and at least 6 months in phlebotomy. Monday–Friday 9:30 am–2:00 pm with rotating Saturdays. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
