Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Boston, MA. You will perform skilled blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods across all age groups and handle specimen processing with accuracy.

The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, data entry, and ability to travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
