Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Westford MA. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture/capillary methods across age groups, specimen handling, data entry, and travel to client sites while delivering excellent patient service.

The position requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or practical training; LabCorp experience is preferred, with potential for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience.
• Preferred: LabCorp experience.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency if no experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
