Job summary

Labcorp in Augusta, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a Patient Service Center or client office. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of Labcorp.

The role includes a 6:00am–6:00pm weekday schedule with rotating Saturdays, opportunities for growth, and incentive plans such as PST and float pay. A phlebotomy certification or completed training is preferred along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to travel to multiple sites

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly
• Process billing and collect payments
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen logs
• Provide superior customer service to patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required
