Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Savannah, GA. The role involves working in a Patient Service Center or Client office, performing skilled blood collections and delivering excellent customer service as the face of Labcorp.

The position offers opportunities for growth and requires phlebotomy certification or training, with a schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
