Job summary

Labcorp in Waycross, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a patient-focused role. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry while providing excellent customer service.

The position supports work in Patient Service Centers or client offices with a schedule Monday–Friday, 5:00am–7:00pm, and potential weekend rotation. Travel to additional sites may be required; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or training
• Minimum 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages
• Collect specimens for drug screens and tests
• Data entry of patient information accurately
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs
• Provide superior customer service
• Travel to additional sites as needed
