Job summary

Labcorp in Kimberling City, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver exceptional patient service while representing Labcorp’s values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or an accredited training program is preferred if no prior experience.
• Must be able to pass a color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent patient service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; flexible to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients; perform administrative duties as needed.
