Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Opportunities for growth within the organization are provided.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am-3pm, rotating weekends; travel to additional sites as needed; requires valid driver’s license and ability to pass color blindness test. Join Labcorp to contribute to patient care and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification required.
• Completed phlebotomy training acceptable.
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests.
• Data entry of patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
