Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm schedule with rotating Saturdays and opportunities for growth within Labcorp. Prior phlebotomy experience and/or certification are preferred, with training available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
