Job summary

Labcorp in Kimberling City, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team and perform blood collections with care for all age groups. This role includes data entry, specimen preparation, and ensuring accurate patient logs.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with preferred Labcorp experience and 1+ year in a phlebotomy role. Work schedule is 8:30am–12:30pm, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
