Job summary

Labcorp in Palatka, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company at patient service centers. The role includes growth opportunities within the organization and depends on skills and relevant experience for offers.

The position schedule is Monday-Saturday, AS NEEDED with a variable schedule (not to exceed 19 hours per week).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned
