Job summary

Labcorp in Palatka, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN to join our team. Responsibilities include blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, labeling and processing specimens, data entry, and providing outstanding patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months of experience; preferred is 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training, or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide exceptional patient service.
• Administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
