Job summary

Labcorp in Florida is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections for patients of all ages and ensure accurate data entry and smooth front-line service.

This 20-hour weekly role emphasizes excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Travel to additional sites may be required; color blindness test is part of the standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification.
• Completed phlebotomy training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Color vision test required (color blindness screening).
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
