KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Phlebotomist for Oceanside, CA. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate lab records. You will travel to PSC locations in Vista and Encinitas as needed, with mileage reimbursed, and may rotate some weekends.

This contract position runs about 3 months with benefits available. Requires valid phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, MS Office skills, and a high school diploma or GED.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months’ venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate and handle specimens per procedure.
• Update patient information and match requisition forms to specimens.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients; demonstrate needle techniques.
• Package specimens for transport and store specimens by required temperatures.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations; attend trainings.
• Answer calls and read lab results as needed.
