Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Washington, DC (Georgia Ave NW). The role requires routine blood draws, specimen labeling, and safe transport of samples. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm, with a projected 3-month duration and potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 5 years' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients as required.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimens and properly label tubes.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Attend annual department trainings and keep up with OSHA guidelines.
