ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Newberg, OR. The role entails performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper transport and storage according to protocols.

The position operates on a M-F schedule with rotating Saturdays, for an initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent employment. Candidates should have a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection.
• Package specimens for transport and stores specimen according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows protocols.
