Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Newberg, OR. The position supports blood collection, specimen labeling, and processing in a hospital-like lab environment on a Monday to Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays.

The role requires 1 year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and a valid phlebotomy certification as needed by state, plus 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting. Training and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience preferred
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture in fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and properly label specimens
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data
• Decontaminate work areas and update patient information as required
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients
• Package and transport specimens preserving integrity per protocol
• Ensure test requisitions match specimen tubes and labels
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations
