Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Newberg, OR. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays. Potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining meticulous records. A phlebotomy certification and at least 1 year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience are required, along with basic office software proficiency. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations.
