Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a phlebotomist in Baltimore, MD for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The schedule is standard daytime hours with occasional Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate and prepare specimens for transport per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and obtain consent.
• Ensure specimens are properly stored and transported following protocol.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend required trainings.
