Job summary

Your Talent Team in Baltimore, MD is seeking a contract Phlebotomist (6 165) to join our lab team for approximately 3 months with potential for permanent placement. The role involves blood draws, labeling, specimen handling, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include accurate venipuncture, data recording, sample transport, and clear patient communication. Minimum qualifications require state phlebotomy certification, 6 months+ venipuncture experience,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years diagnostic phlebotomy experience
• Pediatric to geriatric patient experience
• Valid state phlebotomy certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Draw blood and label specimens with accuracy
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data
• Update patient information and ensure specimen integrity
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocols
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations compliance
• Attend annual department trainings
• Answer phone inquiries and read results as required
