Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with a potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with one Saturday per month; projected duration is 3 months with potential for perm.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, updating patient information, and ensuring proper transportation and storage according to procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Update patient information and ensure correct test requisitions.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
