Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanency. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, plus one Saturday per month 8:00am-2:30pm. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling and processing, data recording, and patient communication. Requires 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy, pediatric to geriatric experience, and valid state phlebotomy

Competenze

• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Pediatric to geriatric experience required.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Mansioni

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and maintain data.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and labeling.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations compliance.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Assist with updating patient information as required.
