Job summary

Labcorp in Whitehouse, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Shift is Monday–Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with rotating Saturdays 6:30am - 12:00pm. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, enter patient data, and support billing and specimen processing.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification, plus 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential; color vision testing is required.

Qualifications

• Pass a color vision test and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
