Labcorp in Whitehouse, NJ, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Duties include blood collection by venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and customer service. The role requires a phlebotomy certification or training, high school diploma, and willingness to travel to additional sites as needed.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays 6:30am–12:00pm. Pay range is $17.75–$24 per hour with comprehensive benefits and potential PST incentive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
