Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Bayonne, NJ. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, rotating Saturdays 6:00am–12:00pm. Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, collect specimens for drug screens, and ensure accurate data entry and billing processing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and Phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more; PST incentive plan available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
