Job summary

Save a Life Now is seeking an efficient donor services professional to perform whole blood collection at donor centers and mobile sites. The role includes donor interviews, pre/post-collection procedures, and ensuring product quality while upholding confidentiality.

The position requires flexibility, valid driver license as applicable, and willingness to travel between sites. A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is available, and January 2027 is the anticipated start date.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience interacting with customers or the public in a service-oriented setting.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Microsoft Office applications and Outlook familiarity beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging the donor and ensuring a positive experience.
• Perform all aspects of whole blood collection.
• Conduct donor interviews and evaluate donor suitability.
• Record donor hemoglobin and vital signs accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information.
• Prepare sites, perform phlebotomy, monitor reactions, and ensure product quality.
