Lifeshare Blood Center in Alexandria is seeking a Phlebotomist for Mobile Collections. The role offers on-the-job training with no prior experience required, traveling to donor sites, performing screening, phlebotomy, and donor care to ensure a safe blood supply for our community.

Ideal candidates enjoy public interaction, are dependable and punctual, and value service to the community. Training wage starts at $14.85/hr with potential to rise to $16.85/hr within 6 months, plus incentive bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete in-house Donor Services Training Program and proficiency checks within first 90 days.
• Must complete CPR/First Aid course within 6 months or have current CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable in collection methods and able to manage collection events.
• Dependable, punctual and have effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Register blood donors and administer a medical screening assessment.
• Perform phlebotomy and provide donor care during and after donation.
• Contribute to a positive donor experience to sustain return donors.
