Job summary

LifeShare Blood Center is seeking a Phlebotomist for mobile collections. You will register donors, perform screenings, collect blood, and care for donors during and after collection, contributing to a safe blood supply for the community.

The role requires a flexible schedule, ability to lift equipment up to 35 lbs, and willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training begins with a paid period at $14.42/hr, with potential increase to $16.50/hr within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete in-house Donor Services Training within 90 days.
• CPR/First Aid within 6 months or current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of blood collection methods and event management.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain donor confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Register blood donors and administer screening assessments.
• Perform phlebotomy and provide care during/after donation.
• Ensure positive donor experience to cultivate return donors.
• Support mobile operations and load equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality of donor information.
