Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National Phlebotomy certification preferred or 2+ years of Phlebotomy experience.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record and reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to follow SOP in FDA regulated environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.
• Ability to work with all levels in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Performs donor scheduling and recruitment for automated and whole blood donations when needed.
• Screens donors through medical history, mini physicals, and testing results.
• Performs venipuncture and operates automated collection systems as required.
• Ensures post-phlebotomy care and donor safety; documents all activities.
• Performs quality control and maintains device and paperwork per SOPs and FDA standards.
• Maintains donor areas and equipment stock; participates in drive setup and logistics.
• Supports donor services team to ensure successful drives and donor experience.
