Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 15211 Vanowen St. Suite 319, Van Nuys, CA 91345. This full-time role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service.

Qualified candidates will have a California CPT license, a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of phlebotomy experience; bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist.
• Current or prior experience at Labcorp.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
