Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1310 San Bernardino Rd Ste 107 Upland, CA. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and specimen processing.

The role requires a California CPT license and at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience; bilingual abilities and travel to other sites are a plus. We offer growth opportunities within Labcorp’s extensive network and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California CPT license.
• At least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)

3 months or more of experience as phlebotomist
