Job summary

Labcorp in San Diego, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30 am–4:00 pm, with rotating weekends as needed. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Responsibilities include collecting blood specimens by venipuncture/capillary methods, data entry, specimen processing, and providing exceptional patient service. Must hold a CA phlebotomy license and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid California State phlebotomy license required.
• Preferred: 1+ month of phlebotomy experience; prior Labcorp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent patient service and assist at multiple sites.
