Job summary

Labcorp in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Full Time Phlebotomist to join our team at 50 Alessandro Place Suite A10 Pasadena, CA 91105. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages in a fast-paced clinical lab setting.

The position requires a High school diploma or GED or CA CPT license; 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. You will handle data entry, billing, specimen prep, and provide excellent patient service while traveling to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to travel to additional sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
