Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team in Westford, MA. The role involves performing blood collections, specimen processing, and accurate data entry while providing excellent patient service. The position requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training/experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year+ experience as a phlebotomist required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
