Zusammenfassung

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Springfield, MA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods, collect specimens for various tests, and enter patient data accurately.

The role requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, and at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Prior Labcorp experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is required.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
